America’s Credit Unions Thursday hosted a webinar to provide members with information on the Overseas Military Banking Program (OMBP). During the event, Department of Defense (DoD) Director for Banking and Credit Union Programs Bill Hawbecker provided a breakdown of what the program is and how DoD works with the banking sector.
Hawbecker also discussed how financial institutions become fiscal agents for DoD. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions.
In attendance were members of America’s Credit Unions and representatives from 22 Leagues from across the country. Leadership from the Defense Credit Union Council were also special guests of America’s Credit Unions.
