There is still time to register for America’s Credit Unions Congressional Caucus – happening in Washington, D.C., September 8 – 11. The event will feature discussions on key legislative and regulatory issues affecting credit unions and feature insights from keynote speakers Paul Ryan and Bakari Sellers.
Paul Ryan, 54th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives (2015-2019) and 2012 Vice Presidential candidate, will be the opening keynote speaker for the event and will participate in a “fireside chat” with Jim Nussle, president/CEO of America’s Credit Unions. Ryan and Nussle served in the House together from 1999 to 2007. The discussion will explore how credit unions navigate today’s political landscape as we head into another important and unprecedented general election.
Bakari Sellers, a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, distinguished political commentator, attorney, and a two-time New York Times bestselling author, will be the closing keynote speaker for the event.
