Members of both the House and Senate are back home in their districts for the August recess. As America’s Credit Unions remains focused on credit union industry priorities, state Leagues and credit unions are holding in-district meetings with elected officials this month, including a meeting with Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., credit union leaders, and the Cornerstone League this week.
The House and Senate reconvene following the Labor Day holiday, just as America’s Credit Unions Congressional Caucus begins in Washington, D.C., September 8 – 11.
State primaries continue this week – with elections in Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Washington, and Hawaii.
