A new Head of Compliance has joined America’s Credit Unions with the addition of Marilyn Barker, an experienced consumer regulatory compliance and corporate attorney with expertise in the public and private sectors.

Barker’s government experience includes serving as a regulatory policy project officer at Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, senior Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and as an attorney for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

She comes to America’s Credit Unions from StellarFi, where she served as general counsel and director of compliance. There she advised on digital banking and payments-related regulatory matters including consumer protection laws and credit regulations.
