Sharing the differences – and advantages – of using credit unions was the focus of a feature in October’s Negocios Now, an award-winning Spanish language Hispanic business publication. Northwest Community Credit Union (NWCCU) President/CEO José García highlighted the unique benefits credit unions offer consumers in today’s financial landscape, including his credit union’s efforts.

“I want to emphasize that credit unions are a strong alternative to big banks and fintechs,” said García. “We offer competitive pricing and a personal touch that larger institutions often lack. By spreading this message, we hope that more people and small business will consider credit unions as their primary or alternative financial partner.”

Garcia highlighted how credit unions have evolved; the ways credit unions are adapting to technological advancements; and initiatives NWCCU is involved with to help make a further impact on its community.
