Project Zip Code now offers cloud-based data uploading

Helping credit union members be counted with Project Zip Code (PZC) just got easier. America’s Credit Unions now offers a cloud-based upload process for PZC. It allows credit unions to upload data in minutes, with no additional downloads required and with the same high level of security.

PZC is a user-friendly, secure computer program that counts credit union members and matches them to a congressional district, state legislative district and county. It is a critical part of the Don’t Tax My Credit Union campaign, as it helps show policymakers the number of credit union members they represent in their states and districts.

Previously, uploading data required the installation of a desktop application. Now with cloud-based uploading, users no longer have to install a desktop app. Instead, by following prompts, the entire process can be completed online in less than 5 minutes.
The Grassroots team tested the new process with several credit unions to gather feedback and refine the PZC experience for this new, intuitive grassroots tool. To upload data: click here, then select “Run Online.”

Credit unions are encouraged to run PZC at least once a year to ensure the data remains up to date. This information not only supports federal and state advocacy efforts, but it also provides credit unions with useful operational benefits.
