House members highlight tax priorities in hearing

Dozens of House members shared tax policy priorities with the House and Ways Committee on Wednesday, but none mentioned any changes to the credit union tax status in their presentations. The “member day” hearing allowed House members to address anything within the committee’s tax jurisdiction.

Members addressed the need for childcare, inheritance, and state and local tax deduction reform, among other topics.

America’s Credit Unions, leagues, and credit unions continue to engage members of the committee, as well as members of other key committees, as tax reform discussions continue.
