This eSchool also prepares you for the Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) exam and designation. To earn the designation, participants must also attend the Investment Certification School (ICS): Advanced in-person event and successfully complete the ICS: Advanced exam.

Learn key financial characteristics, the proper application and common misapplications.  Topics include yield, spread, WAL, time value of money, durations (McCauley, Modified, Effective, Spread), option adjusted spread, and term structure of interest rates.

Learn about common issues, implications, and the basics of mortgage-backed securities. Attendees will also cover key financial characteristics that should impact risk adjusted returns.

Learn about common issues, implications, and the basics of collateralized mortgage obligations. Attendees will also cover key financial characteristics that should impact risk adjusted returns.

Learn how to show the board and asset/liability committee (ALCO) the role the investment portfolio plays as part of the balance sheet from first mitigating the net risk between shares and loans, generating returns and aligning clear risk, return benchmarks based on balance sheet interest rate and liquidity risks.

Virtual Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing. Please provide a brief explanation for the cancellation and submit via email to hello@americascreditunions.org. Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to the event are subject to a 25% administrative fee on the order total. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received on or after 7 days prior to the event. Substitutions are accepted prior to the start of the program. Additional costs may apply. Please provide the event name, current participant and new participant name to hello@americascreditunions.org.
